Seeger By Design was established 15 years ago; and now operates out of Newcastle; working with residential clients; and with builders and developers.

The business grew organically out of an art gallery I ran with my partner.

Our gallery was based in The Blue Mountains; and we supported local artists; as well as identifying design opportunities for them.

Art sourcing for clients, then led me into their colour consulting, interior design, and decorating needs.

I am passionate about collaborating with other artists and designers; and it was after I did voluntary work at a remote Indigenous Art Centre, that I launched an Indigenous rug range.

The range saw royalties go back to the artists; and the rugs feature in Qantas Head Office, the offices of Yahoo, Microsoft; and numerous other commercial and public spaces.

As a side project, I collaborated on a fabric range with other artists with the fabrics handprinted on hemp. These were exhibited with the Design Institute of Australia and DesignEx.

I continue to develop my own art practice; and tutor students internationally for the Interior Design Institute.
